Minnesota Wild 00-07 Green Jersey

Today is a special day in the history of the Minnesota Wild! On this day in 1998, the NHL's Minnesota franchise selected the name 'Wild'. In honor of this special day for my favorite NHL team, today's post is a 2000-2007 green Minnesota Wild jersey.

This jersey was worn by the Wild on the road from their inaugural season in 2000, until 2003 when the league switched colors at home and road. It then became the home jersey, ans stayed so until 2007 when the league switched to the Reebok Edge system. This particular jersey is replica, size XXL.

Team: Minnesota Wild (NHL)
Designation: Home, Road
Years Worn: 2000-2003 Road, 2003-2007 Home

Pittsburgh Penguins 95-02 Alt/Road Jersey

I don't have any Winter Classic jerseys, but I do have a Penguins jersey. So, today's post is a replica of the jerseys worn by the Pittsburgh Penguins from 1995 to 2002. This jersey hit the ice in 1995 as one of the NHL's original third jerseys. It was a radical new design, something the sport had never seen before. In 1997, the Pens made this their road jersey, and it stayed so until 2002, before being replaced by the team's new alternate jersey. This jersey is replica, XL.

Team: Pittsburgh Penguins(NHL)
Designation: Alternate, Road
Years Worn: 1995-1997 (Alternate), 1997-2002 (Road)
